Halloween Handmade Card

After switching gears from Halloween Treat favors to make a few cards for the teacher door prize, I decided I would combine the best of both worlds. This is the first of a few Halloween cards that could be used for invitations or to send to friends and family for Halloween.

To make this project you will need the following supplies:

Close To My Heart Creepy Cobwebs My Acrylic Stamp Set (D1319)
Autumn Terracotta, Grey Flannel and Black card stock sheets
Black (Z2105) and Grey Flannel (Z2124) Exclusive Inks stamp pads
Black Waxy Flax (Z1089)
Edge distresser, sanding block and piercing tool.
Spiderweb embossing folder or template

This card is a standard 4.25" x 5.5" invitation size. Start by embossing the black card stock using the spiderweb template. Lightly sand the raised surfaces of the spiderweb. (I am so in love the CTMH white core black card stock) Stamp spider on string and trim. Stamp "Boo" and ink the edges with Grey Flannel ink. Cut and edge distress Grey Flannel and Autumn Terracotta card stock. Pierce holes in Autumn Terracotta card stock. String and knot the black waxy flax through the holes in the Autumn Terracotta card stock. Adhere to card base and mail to friends and family!
