February Stamp Of The Month - Piece of Cake - Heat Embossed & Water Brushed Ink

Stamp of the Month Set - Piece Of Cake is a wonderful set for heat embossing.  Both cards were embossed using the VersaMark ink and black embossing powder.  The coloring was done with the water brush using the Exclusive Ink Pads.

To create the raised embossed image, stamp the image using the VersaMark Ink pad.  I dusted with blank embossing powder and heated the powder using the craft heater until fully melted and shiny.

To watercolor with our ink pads you can squeeze the ink from the pad onto the lid of the ink pad (while the lid is closed).  Using the water brush (filled with filtered water), dip the wet tip of the brush in the ink that remained on the lid of the ink pad and paint it onto the stamped image.

To create these projects you will need the following supplies:

Piece of Cake Stamp Set (D1407)
VersaMark Ink Pad (Z891)
Black Embossing Powder (Z670)
Craft Heater (Z555)
Hollyhock & Sunny Yellow Ink Pads
Hollyhock, Sunny Yellow, Black & White Daisy card stock
Jingle Level 2 Paper Pack (
Various Designer Ribbon & RicRac Rounds
